You can always count on Mark Steyn to connect the dots, this time with the maniacal mainstream media support of Obama:
Of course, the liberal media love Obama just because he's one of them. But the enthusiasm (and desperation) of their support really makes Steyn's point: the only way the traditional media monoliths will survive is if President Obama props them up, and they must be well aware of this.
The reason the press are going to such shameless lengths to drag Obama
across the finish line is because he's their last best hope at
restoring the old media environment, including a new Unfairness
Doctrine for radio, and regulation of the Internet.
