A Quick Explanation of Why Praise Music is Terrible

I grew up in an old-school Southern Baptist church, so naturally I grew up thinking that old-school hymns were the lamest kind of music ever. I yearned for the day when I could hear something contemporary in church.

Then I grew up and started going to a more contemporary church. And I got my first prolonged exposure to contemporary praise and worship music. And... I gained a whole new appreciation for old-school hymns.
