Ok, it was just two days without electricity, but that's what it felt like. The dark and quiet that comes with a power outage is a different kind of dark and quiet--a primeval kind of dark and quiet that makes you feel like you are in the middle of nowhere at the dawn of time. It also is almost the only thing that will make you think of the word "primeval."
But I have been diligently blogging my heart out the whole time. Except I've been typing my posts up on an old Smith-Corona and throwing them out the window. Has anybody been able to read one? If you see one, write a comment at the bottom and throw it back.
